Degree Overview
Audiology and Speech Language Pathology is a healthcare profession specializing in identifying, diagnosing, and rehabilitative services for hearing and speech disorders. The program is designed to equip students with fundamental academic knowledge, clinical skills, and reflective practices, preparing them to excel in the fields of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology. BSc ASLP graduates from the University of Sharjah will be empowered to make significant contributions in various clinical roles in healthcare settings.

Upon the successful completion of the program, Audiology and Speech Language Pathology graduates should be able to:
- Demonstrate the knowledge to conduct speech and hearing screenings for the early detection of communication disorders
- Apply evidence-based diagnostic evaluation methods for individuals with Speech and hearing disorders.

This clinical course focuses on Audiology component with students assigned to clinical areas aligned with courses 0508352, 0508353, 0508255,0508357 and 0508263. Students are expected to conduct assessments, develop management plans, and write formal reports, integrating their knowledge from the program.
