In the context of enhancing culture and knowledge among university students, the Book Club in the Student Activities Department of the Dean of Student Affairs organized a "Meeting with an Author" program. Dr. Layla Al-Abidi from the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences was hosted to discuss her book, Al-Fakah in Islam, which won the Sheikh Zayed Book Award.

The meeting was conducted by Habiba Mohamed, the President of the Book Club. The goal of the event was to encourage students to read and write, explore the impact on the self and society, and address how to overcome challenges. The discussion on the book was attended by a diverse audience of faculty, staff, and students.
