Lecture: Welcome Ramadan... A Beloved One Who Has Come In Need

At the beginning of Ramadan, the initiative 'Breaths of Light' in the Student Activities Department of the Deanship of Student Affairs organized a lecture titled 'Welcome Ramadan... A Beloved One Who Has Come in Need.' Presented by Dr. Kulthum Harid from the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies, the lecture aimed to inspire the university community to approach Ramadan with enthusiasm and maximize its benefits. It covered topics such as how to prepare for Ramadan, the importance of preparation, and the ways to prepare spiritually. The lecture emphasized the significance of repentance, introducing new spiritual practices into a Muslim’s life, striving for obedience, and avoiding sin. Dr. Harid encouraged starting with spiritual preparation through repentance, internal reform, and honoring Ramadan with sincere intentions for good deeds, as well as striving for the highest paradise. The initiative aims to promote cultural, religious, and social awareness by implementing lectures and activities that reinforce various Islamic principles commanded by Allah and recommended by our beloved Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him.
