Attending The Panel Discussion (Emirati Women And Sustainable Environment) In Celebration Of Emirati Women's Day Under The Theme (We Share For Tomorrow), Coinciding With The UAE's Preparations To Host The COP28 Conference.

The Deanship of Student Affairs / Student Activities Department, in collaboration with the Sharjah Women's Union Association, organized the participation of female students in attending the panel discussion (Emirati Women and Sustainable Environment). The event, hosted by the General Women's Union in Abu Dhabi under the gracious patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union 'Mother of the Nation,' was held in celebration of Emirati Women's Day under the theme (We Share for Tomorrow), coinciding with the UAE's preparations to host the COP28 Conference.

The session aimed to highlight the contributions of Emirati women in the preparations for COP28, featuring the following distinguished speakers:

- Her Excellency Mariam bint Mohammed Al Mheiri / Minister of Climate Change and Environment

- Her Excellency Razan Khalifa Al Mubarak / UN Climate Leader at the COP and President of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) COP28

- Her Excellency Dr. Nawal Al Hosany / Permanent Representative of the UAE to the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA)

- Her Excellency Tayba Al Hashemi / CEO of ADNOC Offshore

- Mr. Omar Al Yazeedi / Deputy Director General of the National Center of Meteorology

The session also included a speech titled 'Generations of the Future' presented by student Ghaia Al Ahbabi, UNICEF COP28 Youth Ambassador.
