Art is a universal language, a product of civilization and an expression of culture. For long centuries now, it has emitted comprehensible messages that touch human feelings. Building upon this, the University Art Studio at the Deanship of Female Student Affairs offers several art workshops in painting, photography and handicrafts for female students so that they may exploit their free time experiencing new activities and learning various skills. It also organizes a number of tours to museums and art exhibitions and hosts many artists who have significant contributions to the fine art movement. The University Art Studio aims at enhancing female students' visual culture and promoting their artistic and aesthetic taste. Identifying talented students, supporting them by holding art exhibitions for them inside the University, engaging them in regional and international exhibitions, organizing competitions in various art forms—painting, photography, graphic design, etc.—are core goals of the studio.
