Transfer Categories:
- Transfer to Another Employee (within/outside department)
Assets can be transferred to another employee with approvals from both the custodian's and receiver's department heads. The request, including asset details and reasons, is submitted via the FMPD portal and processed by Asset Management Section. The receiver must confirm the asset's condition and installation location before accepting it, with updates finalized in AMS portal.
- Transfer to another locations (within/outside department)
Custodians must request asset relocation via the FMPD portal with necessary approvals and asset details. Operational requirements should be ensured, including supplier coordination for reinstallation if needed. Asset management Section processes the request, updates AMS Portal, and closes the task on the portal.
- Transfer Asset through Asset Management System (Without involvement of AMS)
Custodians can request transfers via the AMS portal using the “Asset Transfer Form.” The receiver is notified by email and can approve or reject the request. Upon approval, custody updates to the receiver; if rejected, it remains with the requester. AMS Portal Asset Transfer guidelines are available here.
