The University of Sharjah Celebrates the Graduation of Participants from the "UNIVIEW" Program for Simulating Space with Advanced Astronomical Domes

The University of Sharjah celebrated the graduation of a group of workers from the Sharjah Science Museum from the training program titled "Uniview" to simulate space with advanced astronomical domes. The program was prepared by the Sharjah Academy for Space Science and Technology in collaboration with the Center for Continuing Education and Professional Development at the university, and it lasted for four days. During the program, participants were introduced to the history of astronomical domes and were provided with a detailed explanation of the "Uniview" space simulator program, as well as how to operate and control it, and spatial and temporal navigation skills. Participants also learned how to create a personal user profile, create an integrated playlist, program buttons for specific events, and create control panels as operators of the astronomical dome in their science museum.

At the closing ceremony, participants applied the knowledge and skills they acquired from the "Uniview" program by executing advanced astronomical presentations they worked on in the Sharjah Astronomical Dome, and then they were awarded participation certificates. The graduation ceremony was attended by Dr. Asmaa Nasiri, Director of the Center for Continuing Education and Professional Development at the University, Azza Al-Harmoudi from the Sharjah Science Museum, Ali Al-Kindi, Director of Support Services Management at the Academy, Marwan Shweiki, course presenter and Director of the Sharjah Astronomical Dome, Dr. Mashhoor Al-Wardat, Director of Academic Affairs at the Academy, and a number of university, academy, and Sharjah Science Museum staff.
