Overview
The Medical Education Centre at the University of Sharjah developed the Basic Certificate in Health Professions Education specifically for faculty of the medical/health colleges at the University. The aim is to enable them to develop a critical knowledge, understanding, and application of health professions education principles and skills required for the educational process.
Aim
To develop a community of educators in the medical and health science campus who are committed to promoting improvements in both ‘what’ and ‘how’ we teach future healthcare professionals.

Delivery and Assessment Methods
The certificate program will be delivered across the semester (15 weeks) using a blended learning approach (online materials and weekly hands-on training workshops).
