Department Overview

The University of Sharjah adopts a strong and consistent governance approach, one of the most important pillars of which is the enforcement of the law at its various levels: federal laws, the legislation of the Emirate of Sharjah, and the university’s Bylaws, and policies, as well as the legal framework within which academic institutions operate in the country and in their international relations.

The Office of the Legal Adviser provides legal advice and support to all university units in enforcing the law in their relations and dealings with stakeholders, including faculty members, employees, students, contractors, and national and academic institutions that are partners in academic and research cooperation projects.
