The Student Activities Department works to achieve its ambition for excellence and leadership by providing many qualitative extracurricular activities for university students, whether cultural, social, artistic or theatrical activities, so that they are organized according to a systematic and specific plan. In addition to presenting initiatives for students that suit their abilities and work to hone their skills and adopt every positive idea among students and work to implement it. The Deanship works to implement and adopt many activities that contribute to discovering, developing and enhancing students' skills and talents and working to encourage innovation and creativity among them to be an active member inside and outside the university and able to market themselves in the labor market.

The Cultural, Social, and Artistic Activities Organized by the Department are:

• Holding cultural and artistic competitions within the university and at the level of state universities
• Participating in community events and cultural and heritage festivals.
• Holding scientific exhibitions in cooperation with scientific societies in the various colleges of the university.
• Holding and organizing recreational and religious trips for students.
• Establishing student bodies (student council, cultural clubs) and their administrative bodies and implementing their semester and annual plans.
• Issuing a student newspaper and documenting all student participation.
• Participating in volunteer work within the university and at the level of the Emirate of Sharjah.

Presenting various theatrical works with the participation of university students in guidance meetings with the aim of raising awareness among university students of the regulations and laws governing the university, and on national occasions.
