The Sports Activities Department at the University of Sharjah is a fundamental pillar of the university, aiming to enhance the physical and mental health of students, staff, and faculty by offering a variety of meaningful recreational and competitive sports programs. The department's role goes beyond providing sports activities; it also fosters social connections, builds relationships, and develops personal and leadership skills among participants. Objectives of the Sports Activities Department:

- Conduct theoretical courses and awareness lectures on the importance of sports and combating harmful habits such as staying up late, smoking, and excessive consumption of stimulants, highlighting their adverse health effects.
Policies and Procedures:
Instructions for the Sports Complex:
- Students must present their university ID upon entry. Faculty and staff must present their membership cards upon entry as well.
- Register at the reception upon entry and exit.
- The management of the sports complex is not responsible for lost personal belongings inside the complex.
- Engage in sports activities, wearing the appropriate sports attire for each game.
- Place bags and clothes in designated areas.
- Adhere to working hours and leave half an hour before the scheduled closing time.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the sports complex.
- Keep sports equipment in good condition by using them correctly.
- Receiving guests who are not approved members of the university is prohibited.
- Children under ten are not allowed without a guardian.
- The sports complex is not responsible for any injury caused by a pre-existing medical condition.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the sports complex and the university city.
Swimming Pool Usage Rules:
- Shower before entering the pool.
- Do not wear any kind of footwear in the pool area.
- Only swimwear is allowed in the pool.
- Rough play and running around the pool are strictly prohibited.
- Food and drinks are not allowed in the pool area.
- Do not bring valuables to the pool; the management is not responsible for lost items.
- Bringing guests who are not students or staff of the university is prohibited.
