Department Overview
The Deanship of Student Affairs was founded concurrently with the establishment of the University of Sharjah by Amiri Decree No. (1) of 1997, issued by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Federal Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah, and Founder of the University. The Deanship was established to foster and complement the university's role in community building and to enhance the educational process in the United Arab Emirates. It was also established as an act of sustainable strategic planning.
