Policy & Procedures

The Central Labs Directorate Policies and Procedures describe the operational and standard practices for faculty members, labs staff and students working in teaching and research laboratories. These Policies and Procedures met the requirements of local and international standards and reviewed by professional external consultant hired by the University. All concerned faculty members, labs staff and students must follow these Policies and Procedures in order to keep smooth operations among Laboratories and attain the highest level of efficiency in utilization of lab resources and comply with safety standards.

The Central Labs Directorate Policies and Procedures have been approved by the Chancellor of University of Sharjah after the approval of Dean's Council meeting No (8) on 27-October-2019.The Central Labs Directorate updated its Policies and Procedures according to the guidelines of the Office of Vice Chancellor for Institutional Effectiveness & Accreditation and get it approved. The new version of Central Labs Policies and Procedures is being implemented effective November 1, 2022.
