Central Laboratories Directorate

The Central Laboratories Directorate conducted a workshop title "Fire Safety Training Fundamental & Proper Use of Fire Extinguisher & Fire Warden Duties," specifically designed for selected staff members nominated by scientific colleges and research institutes. The workshop aimed to enhance participants' knowledge and skills in lab fire safety protocols, including properly utilizing fire extinguishers and fire warden duties. This initiative underscores the Directorate's commitment to promoting a safe and secure work environment within UOS teaching and research laboratories.

As a part of implementing the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (ISO 45001:2018) Project in central labs, This workshop was organized by certified external approved firefighting trainers, and all the participants experienced hands-on training during the workshop for fire extinguisher usage. Certificates have been issued to all attendees.
