Asset Management Section

Department Overview:

Asset Management Section manages the physical assets of the University, which include land, buildings, equipment, and other tangible assets. The Asset Management Section is part of the Vice Chancellor for Financial and Administrative Affairs' Office at the University of Sharjah. It is considered one of the most vital service units, supporting the University's asset-related operations such as Asset Acquisition, Asset Addition, Asset Transfer, Asset Inventory, and Asset Disposal.

Our mission is to ensure the efficient and effective management of the University's fixed assets and to support the academic and administrative needs of the institution. We aim to provide accurate and timely information about the location, condition, and value of our assets and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Additionally, we provide guidance and support to other departments within the university, helping them to manage their own fixed assets in accordance with university policies and procedures.
