The Sustainable Architecture and Resilient Design Research Group, along with the Department of Architectural Engineering,  hosted a seminar entitled "Digitization in the Construction Industry." The event featured two external speakers, Dr. Sulafa Badi and Dr. Marawan Abu Ebeid. Dr. Sulafa Badi, an Associate Professor at the British University in Dubai, explored the application of blockchain technology for collaborative value creation in construction supply chains. Meanwhile, Dr. Marawan Abu Ebeid, author of the National Smart Construction Guidelines for the UAE Government, delivered a lecture on integrating Industry 4.0 technologies for construction management.
