The Research Institute for Humanities and Social Sciences (RIHSS) was established in September 2014 with a mission to promote and advance research at the University of Sharjah. RIHSS focuses on empowering faculty members and students from the colleges of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, Law, Sharia and Islamic Studies, Business, Communication, and Fine Arts and Design. It provides them with extensive resources to support research and studies, foster innovative solutions that benefit the community, and share knowledge through workshops, seminars, and conferences.
