To promote joint research in artificial intelligence (AI) and its applications across various fields, the University of Sharjah (UoS) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with AIDEN, a leading company specializing in AI applications. This partnership aims to provide the university students with the skills and knowledge necessary to keep pace with the digital age and advancements in computing. The agreement was signed on behalf of the University by Dr. Salah Taher Al Haj, Vice Chancellor for Community Affairs, and by Tannya Jagal, Founder and CEO of AIDEN.

 

The MoU outlines a collaborative framework between the two parties, focusing on hosting annual AI career fair and forum, organizing a series of specialized lectures for students and faculty members to keep them updated on the latest trends, research, and job opportunities in the AI industry, exchanging ideas and expertise, establishing a specialized training center to develop AI skills among students, and encouraging their involvement in scientific conferences and seminars.
