UoS Opens Student Clubs and Societies 7th Annual Exhibition
Dr. Amina Al-Marzouqi, Vice Chancellor for Student and Branch Affairs at the University of Sharjah (UoS), inaugurated the seventh annual Student Clubs and Societies Exhibition, organized by the Student Activities Section at the Deanship of Men’s Student Affairs. The opening ceremony was attended by Prof. Eid Kanaan, Dean of Men's Student Affairs, Prof. Adnan Sarhan, Dean of the College of Law, as well as directors of centers and departments, faculty and administrative staff, and a number of students from various colleges at the University.This year's exhibition featured 33 diverse booths, including cultural clubs and societies. The exhibition aimed at providing an opportunity for cultural clubs and societies to showcase their programs, activities, and events, encouraging students to join them. The Exhibition witnessed a large participation of scientific societies, through which students showcased the scientific skills and knowledge they acquired throughout their academic journey.
In addition to the participation of cultural clubs, representing various communities, and highlighting traditional and cultural activities that reflects the culture and heritage of their countries. Moreover, cuisines from different countries were also showcased.
The Exhibition featured the following societies: the Business Administration Society, Medical Student Association (MSA) Society, Medical Laboratory Sciences Society, Applied Biology Society, Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering Society, Computing and Informatics Society, Architectural Engineering Society, Environmental Health Sciences Society, Health Services Administration (HAS) Society, Medical Diagnostic Imaging Society, Physiotherapy Society, Nursing Society, Student Pharmacy Society, Clinical Nutrition Dietetics Society, Civil and Environmental Engineering Society, College of Communication Society, and College of Law Society.In addition to the Sustainable and Renewable Energy Engineering (SREE) Society, Sociology Department Society, the International Relations Department Society, Foreign Languages Department Society, Electrical Engineering Society, Applied Physics and Astronomy Department Society, Chemistry Department Society, Arabic Language Society, American Academy of Developmental Medicine and Dentistry, Algerian Cultural Club, the Emirati Cultural Club and Student Council, Yemeni Cultural Club, Mauritanian Cultural Club, Palestinian Cultural Club, South Asian Countries Club, and Sudanese Cultural Club.
