With the application of the highest precautionary measures, the University of Sharjah receives more than 15 thousand students in its various colleges and scientific and literary departments to start the Fall Semester for the Academic Year 2020/2021, through its virtual educational platforms and through the presence of University students to attend some practical courses, as the distance learning system will continue. This is with an emphasis of applying the narrowest limits and all precautionary measures and social distancing within the laboratories.

This was stated by Prof. Hamid M.K. Al Naimiy, Chancellor of the University of Sharjah, who raised the warmest congratulations and blessings to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah, in his name and in the name of the University's family on the occasion of the new academic year. He also wished His Highness the success in leading and directing the University for further progress and success in the global horizons to which he aspires with a great deal of management and firm experiences in the academic fields. He also thanked the academic, administrative and technical bodies at the University for their efforts during the past academic year, especially since the beginning of the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
