Coming from the keenness of the University of Sharjah to emphasize the importance of the elements of the current strategic plan that it follows and extends to 2024,

which was drawn up as an investigation of the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah. His Excellency Prof. Hamid M.K. Al Naimiy, Chancellor of the University of Sharjah, inspected several vital construction projects for the University's facilities in order to follow up the progress of work and stay atop the latest construction developments in these facilities.Prof. Maamar Bettayeb, Vice Chancellor for Research and Graduate Studies accompanied the Chancellor along with Dr. Salah Taher, Vice Chancellor for Community Affairs, Mr. Majid Al-Jarwan, Vice Chancellor for Public Relations, and Prof. Adnan Ibrahim Sirhan, Assistant Chancellor of Branch Affairs.

His Excellency the University Chancellor and the accompanying delegation inspected the Postgraduate Studies Building and the Scientific Research Building, which are a part of the University's ambitious plan to develop and strengthen the infrastructure of the scientific research and graduate studies system through the expansion of research facilities including laboratories that are equipped with the latest equipment to support scientific research and community service. The expansion aims to provide the necessary opportunity and resources for undergraduate students, graduate students and faculty members to work on enhancing research productivity as well as enhancing the quality of the University's research production.

His Excellency the Chancellor also inspected the construction in the Student Forum building, which was announced by His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and the President of the University for his sons and daughters among university students during one of the Alumni Association's events, and his happiness also inspected the construction work in the restaurant hall in its new look, where the establishment of the Student Forum and development in the restaurant hall is one of the most important elements of the current strategic plan, which aims to make the campus of the University of Sharjah pleasant and comfortable for all, and to enhance and support academic achievement by paying attention to the environment surrounding the student, in addition to enhancing programs, services and facilities for students of determination.
