Sharjah University's colleges offer 122 programs in multiple academic disciplines, ranging from sharia and law, health sciences, medicine, to fine arts.

The College of Business Administration is an innovative, sustainable, and technology-driven institute. It supplies the UAE's job market with leaders equipped with market and business administration skills.

The university's largest school is the College of Engineering with 3200 students. The college attempts to offer educational programs to meet the needs of UAE's fast-moving knowledge-based economy. It prepares its students to become the future leaders in government, industry, and the expanding digital and IT markets.

The university's College of Health Sciences offers courses tailored to train competent and culturally sensitive professionals. Engaged in community services, the college promotes interdisciplinary collaboration, and teaches students how to foster values of professional leadership and commitment.

The College of Law offers undergraduate degrees in civil law, commercial law, and procedural law. The college's graduate programs grant a master's degree in air and space law as well as private law.

The university's College of Fine Arts and Design is turning into a center of visual dialogue in its immediate environ. It aspires to become a leading fine arts institute in the UAE, the gulf region, and the larger Middle East.

Offering a variety of programs in mass communication and public relations, the College of Communication has set its sights on turning into a prominent institution in the Middle East and beyond.

Sharjah University's College of Medicine is prominent on both national and international levels. Providing a full spectrum of undergraduate and graduate medical education, the college develops professional careers for service at hospitals and clinics in the UAE and within the region.

Aiming to become a regional hub of dental education, and dental services, the College of Dental Medicine is bent to serve the needs in the UAE and other gulf countries. The college trains students for employment in public and private medical sectors and the advancement of dental care.

The University's College of Pharmacy teaches and trains students to be able, upon completion of their studies, to meet needs for pharmaceutical services in the UAE and the Gulf region. The college works closely with the colleges of medicine, dentistry, health sciences, and the Sharjah Teaching Hospital to enhance interdisciplinary learning, collaborative practice, and research.

The university complex housing medical, health and dental colleges, has three other outstanding institutions: the Clinical Training Center (CTC), the Sharjah Surgical Institute (SSI), and the Sharjah Research Institute.

In the 12 years since its founding, the College of Sciences has expanded activities to offer a variety of programs, and outreach to the community. The college, like other colleges at the university, has seen exponential growth in number of students, faculty, staff, laboratories.

Established in 2006, the College of Graduate Studies has been working hard to translate the vision of the university founder and president into action. The vision calls for turning the University of Sharjah into a pioneer institution of excellence in research, academic publishing, and graduate studies.

The College of Computing and Informatics offers emerging and state-of-the art programs to serve UAE's national agenda to make the country a beacon of cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, smart cities and systems, machine learning, computing, and IT applications.
