Race to Zero
The University of Sharjah joined Higher Education Institutions across the globe by signing a Climate Emergency Letter and agreed to undertake a three-point plan through the work of the students.
The three-point plan includes:
- Committing to go carbon neutral by 2050 at the very latest.
- Mobilizing more resources for action-oriented climate change research and skills creation.
- Increasing the delivery of environmental and sustainability education across curricula, campus, and community outreach programs.
