Knowledge, Awareness, and Perception of Artificial Intelligence among Health Sciences Students at UoS
This study examines the relationship between current eating habits and the risk of obesity among University of Sharjah students. It involved a cross-sectional analysis of 137 students. Results revealed that 12.4% of students were classified as obese, 20.16% were overweight, and 13.18% were underweight. Additionally, 9.85% of students reported consuming fast food regularly (at least five times a week), and these individuals were found to have a significantly higher prevalence of obesity. The findings underscore the importance of implementing intervention programs aimed at reducing fast food consumption to alleviate the burden of obesity and overweight among students.
