Visual Communication students displayed sixteen Arabic typography projects under the supervision of Nada Abdallah (Assistant Professor in Visual Communication). The posters highlight students’ Kufic designs inspired by the publication “Universal Concepts in the Holy Quran”, authored by His Excellency Professor Hamid M. Alnaimiy, Chancellor of the University of Sharjah. The exhibit, “Letterforms of Faith,” is sponsored by the Sharjah Institute for Heritage and is on display at the UNESCO Center in Sharjah in recognition of the UNESCO International Day of Islamic Art.
