“Type As Form” Exhibit

Thirty-four visual communication students unleashed their creativity by representing either a person or an animal of their choice through the medium of Latin Script. The text they crafted is a blend of descriptive and poetic elements complementing their chosen subjects. The typefaces selected were carefully chosen to reflect the unique backgrounds and contexts of the forms they were studying.

The projects, on exhibit at CFAD’s Rewaq, were part of the course “Typography I” led by Dr. Hala Georges (Assistant Professor in Visual Communication).
