As part of their Corporate Social Responsibility Program, Sharjah Golf & Shooting Club opened its facilities to nineteen interior design students to explore ideas on how best to renovate the club's women Gym and restaurant. Divided into nine groups, students explored various options to maximize floor areas, allowing for better access and attractive exercise spaces while ensuring vibrant interior environments. The final three teams presented their design concepts to the Club's General Manager Mr. Zaid Al Sharabi who reflected on a few viable ideas to be considered in the ongoing renovation. The project was led by Dr. Asem Obaidat (associate professor in interior design). This is one of several studio projects in which CFAD students consider actual clients and work with the surrounding community.
