Sculpture Faculty Dr. Mohamed Yousif and Mr. Moatasem Alkubaisi engage enthusiasts through well-attended hands-on workshops at the Sharjah Heritage Museum earlier this month. Dr. Yousif challenged participants to use palm trunks to make traditional dolls. Meanwhile Mr. Alkubaisi selected clay as the medium of choice to delve into making 3D small objects. Faculty continue to contribute CFAD’s Program of lectures and workshops running parallel to the ongoing exhibit “Reflections and Inspirations from Emirati Heritage.” Further workshops and lectures are scheduled for the next three months.
