Fine Arts Junior Samir Amr Zanaty brings back childhood memories through a reinterpretation of “Al-Ferrareh." The traditional merry-go-round is made of wood from found branches and palm leaf rope. The lightness of the its parts allows for continuous movement in the breeze thus maintaining a dynamic motion. The project, supervised by Dr. Mohammed Yousif Alhammadi (Assistant Professor in Fine Arts), was selected for exhibit at the 2024 Sharjah Heritage Days at the Heart of Sharjah.
