CFAD faculty hosted Tarek Abou El Fatouh (Senior Curator and Director of the Performance Department, Sharjah Art Foundation and a Member of CFAD’s College Advisory Council) to share his curating experience. He is best known for curating the public art works at Expo 2020, Dubai. His presentation highlighted various aspects of the project, starting from his curatorial strategies, discussion with artists, artistic creation and final realization of the artworks in the public spaces. He also visited the Fine Arts Studio and provided feedback to Year III Fine Art Students who discussed their Painting Projects on display. Abou El Fatouh was recently appointed as the Curator for the UAE National Pavilion in the upcoming 60th Venice Art Biennale.
