Creatives Of The UAE Returns

Creatives encounter many opportunities towards unique practices. Hadeyeh Badri, Adult Learning Senior Coordinator at the Sharjah Art Foundation, began her career as a graphic designer experimenting with bilingual topography before presenting herself as a fabric artist. Her journey of experimentation and achievements were shared with faculty and students as part of “Creatives of the UAE” series. Recently, Badri was one of the eight finalists for the 6th edition of the Jameel Prize and exhibited at London’s V&A Museum. She was recently commissioned by Qasimi, the London fashion house, to create handwoven digital tapestry for their Autumn-Winter 23 collection featuring bougainvillea and printed words from Egyptian novelist Radwa Ashour’s “Atyaf”. The work is currently on display at the Qasimi-London Pop-Up Shop in Suq Shannasiya-Heart of Sharjah.
