Two Golds & One Silver at the Creative Concise Awards 2024 – London

Four of our Visual Communication students were recognized at the International Creative Conscience Awards 2024 - THREE WON TOP AWARDS & the 4th was short-listed . Our winners are:  

  • Fatima Mohamed Aljasmi - GOLD AWARD in the War and Crisis Category for her project “KEEP YOUR EYES ON SUDAN,” an awareness campaign in support of the impacted women by the Sudanese war.  
  • Naia Rakan Al Qawaqzeh GOLD AWARD in the Equality + Justice Category for her project “GIRLS WHO DREAM BIG,” an illustrative book and a short film for children about Arab Women in Sports. 
  • Farah Bahaaeldin Youssef Barghash - SILVER AWARD in the Social Issues Category for her project “E-SHARA: ARABIC SIGN LANGAUGE,” its application, and campaign. 

Over the past 12 years, the competition has drawn more than 9,000 applicants globally. This year, nominees and shortlisted applicants came from a wide range of countries, including the Philippines, Indonesia, Hong Kong, the USA, South Africa, the UK, and Singapore among others. This global representation highlights the competition's vast reach and influence across continents. CFAD’s winning projects were completed in the 3rd year design studios under the supervision of Dr. Hala Georges (Assistant Professor of Visual Communication).
