A two-year collaboration between CFAD and the Sharjah Heritage Museum culminated in a comprehensive exhibit, highlighting students’ interpretations of the Emirati heritage through various projects and mediums. The creative outcomes present over forty projects representing 3D designs and color explorations, paintings and sculptures, and fashion design. The engaging exhibit is led by Dr. Karima Alshomely, and a team of interdisciplinary faculty including Dr. Abdul Samad Alkhalidi, Dr. Izmer Bin Ahmad, Dr. Mohammed Yousif Alhammadi, Dr. Ousama Lazkani, Moatasem Alkubaisi, Thaier Helal, and Andreea Lonhardt-Muresan. Faculty are also scheduled to deliver lectures and conduct workshops in the museum over the duration of the exhibit (November 2023 to April 2025).
