Dr. Mashhad Al-Allaf's Participation in an International Conference on Humanities and Social Sciences

Dr. Mashhad Al-Allaf, Professor of Philosophy of Science, Ethics, and Logic, who serves as a visiting professor and faculty member in the Department of Islamic History and Civilization at the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, participated as the session chair at the First Sharjah Conference on Social and Human Sciences, held from September 9-11, 2024. Dr. Al-Allaf also delivered a lecture titled "The Islamic Theory of Science: Based on Arab Philosophy and Islamic Law, Not Greek Logic," in which he highlighted three significant characteristics of Arab-Islamic civilization: originality and logic in the establishment of science and philosophy, critical thinking to preserve identity, and creativity in contributing to humanity. This conference witnessed the presence of a distinguished group of scholars from various countries.
