A PhD dissertation in Jurisprudence and its Fundamentals titled: "The Fundamentals of Jurisprudential Derivation: Its Reality, Features, Regulations, and Effects" was discussed at the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies at the University of Sharjah.

The dissertation was presented by the researcher Khaled Mohammed Sharif Sadaqat. The defense took place on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at 11 AM in person at the Ibn Hanbal Hall, College of Sharia and Islamic Studies, Women' Building. The examination committee consisted of Prof. Kaddafi Izzat Al-Ghananim, the supervisor of the dissertation, with external examiner Prof. Khaled Ali Bani Ahmad, and the internal examiner and chairman of the committee, Prof. Kotb Al-Raisuni, along with internal examiner Prof. Mohammad Mahmoud Al-Amoush.
