Ibrahim Osama Hassan, a PhD candidate in Fiqh and Its Foundations, defended his dissertation titled "The Impact of Exceptions to Juridical Rules Concerning Harm and Precaution in Economic Novelties" on Saturday, June 9, 2024, at 11:00 AM. The viva voce defense was held in the Ibn Hanbal Auditorium, Women's Campus, College of Shari'ah, and Islamic Studies. The defense committee included Prof. Muhammad Ali Sumeran (thesis supervisor), Prof. Ahmad Al-Jazzar Mohammed Bashnaq (External Examiner), Prof. Kathafi Izzat Abdel Hadi Al Ghananim (Internal Examiner and Chairman of the Committee), and Prof. Muhammad Umar Semai (second Internal Examiner).
