Mr. Abdel Rahman Marwan Mousa Allan, an undergraduate student in the Department of Applied Physics and Astronomy, College of Sciences at the University of Sharjah, won the Best Poster award for his senior project work 'Tuning SERS activities of pyramidal-nanowire/silver chemo-sensors for effective detection of multi-hazardous pollutants' at the Frontiers in Materials Science and Engineering (FMSE) conference organized by the American University of Sharjah, UAE from February 13-15, 2024. He is an active researcher in the Center for Advanced Materials Research Lab under the supervision of Dr. Mounir Gaidi and Dr. Kais Daoudi.
