The Use of Armed Forces by One State to Confront Terrorism in Another State
Terrorism is a global phenomenon that threatens countries around the world. Terrorism has benefited from great technological progress, it no longer has borders, and it has become a threat to any country regardless of its geographical location. In the face of terrorism, countries have begun to use armed force against terrorist groups present in other countries without obtaining the approval of the countries in which these groups are present. But other countries have increased the use of armed force in many countries, under the pretext of combating and eliminating terrorism after the terrorist attacks of September 11. Which led to questioning the extent of the legitimacy of the use of armed force, especially since it is carried out outside the framework of the United Nations, and mostly occurs in weak countries by other countries that are militarily stronger than them. Therefore, this research presents the legitimacy of the use of armed force by a country to confront terrorism in another country.
