This study examines the subject of electronic litigation procedures in the UAE Civil Procedures Law as a new means to expedite litigation procedures followed before the UAE courts, in light of Federal Law No. (10) of 2014, and the regulatory regulations of the law pursuant to Cabinet Resolution No. (57) of 2018 and Ministerial Resolution No. (260) of 2019 regarding the procedural guide to regulate litigation using electronic means and remote communication in civil procedures. The federal legislator has adopted the electronic litigation system in the federal and local judicial system, and this was clearly demonstrated through the enactment of legislation that defined the systems for establishing electronic courts, the scope of their application and their legal protection. The United Arab Emirates is considered one of the advanced countries in the technological field.
