The goal of establishing the Clinical Legal Office and launching its website by the College of Law at the University of Sharjah is to provide legal services and consultations to all segments of society, in addition to offering practical training for students. The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor Hamid Al Naimiy, Chancellor of the University of Sharjah, in the presence of Professor Adnan Sarhan and Dr. Halima Al Midfa, as well as several prominent figures from the university and the community.

In his opening speech, Professor Hamid Al Naimiy emphasized the importance of the office's role in developing students' skills and addressing the challenges of modern technology in the legal field. Dr. Halima Al Midfa, Assistant Professor of Criminal Law, highlighted the objectives of the office, including promoting scientific research and spreading legal culture in society, as well as enhancing the values of volunteer work and communication with specialized lawyers in specific areas such as intellectual property.
