Moot trial in the labor judiciary
Within the framework of cooperation between the University of Sharjah, the Faculty of Law and the University of Kalba of the Faculty of Law, and among the objectives of enhancing the practical experience of students in the field of labour law and social security in the current academic year (2023/2024) ; students of the Faculty of Law , Kalba university, carried out an activity entitled: “ The mock trial in labour justice", a court of one day, under the supervision of the Dr. Ayman Zain, an associate professor in civil law at the Universities of Kaleb and Sharjah, which was carried out on 15 November 2023 at 13:30 to 14:45, in the presence and honor of H.E. Dr. Ali AlZaabi, Deputy Assistant Director of the University for Branch Affairs, and members of the academic staff of the Faculty of Law and Students.
Objectives of the mock trial: The activity aimed at achieving the following objectives:
- Training students in the practical aspect and linking it to the theoretical aspect of applying and simulating the principles of labor trials.
- Students practice the art of written and oral argument before the Labour Court.
- The application of labour law rules by participating students in a labour dispute for breach of remuneration.
- Applying students to the arts of cross-examination, control of hearings, deliberation, and sentencing.
- Qualification of students in preparation for integration into the labour market.
Activity Target:All students of the Faculty of Law of the University of Sharjah and students of kalba branch, and students of the Faculty of Law of the University of Khorafkan.
Labor Court Mock Trial
Among the objectives of the University of Sharjah Faculty of Law and the University of Kalba Faculty of Law, cooperation is to enhance students' practical experience in the field of labor law and social security in the current academic year (2023/2024). The Faculty of Law at Kalba University conducted an activity entitled "Mock Trials in Labor Justice". A one-day court was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Ayman Zain, an associate professor of civil law at the University of Kalba on 15 November 2023 from 13:30 to 14:45 in the presence of Dr. Ali Al Zaabi, Deputy Assistant Director of the University for Branch Affairs, and members of the academic staff of the faculty of law and students.
Objectives of the mock trial: The activity aimed at achieving the following objectives:
- Instructing students in the practical aspect of labor trials and linking it to the theoretical aspect of applying and simulating the principles.
- At the Labour Court, students can practice writing and speaking arguments.
- Students participating in a labor dispute for non-remuneration must adhere to labor law rules.
- Conducting cross-examinations, controlling hearings, deliberating, and sentencing students in the arts of cross-examination.
- Providing students with the necessary skills to prepare them for employment.
This activity is intended for all students of the University of Sharjah, University of Kalba, and University of Khorffakan.
