Lean principles applied to an Aramex warehouse improved operational efficiency significantly. Initial assessments revealed a process cycle efficiency (PCE) of 55.65%, which was enhanced to 60% by addressing inefficiencies in the picking process through a composite routing strategy. This adjustment led to a 30.73% increase in items picked per shift, demonstrating substantial gains in efficiency and customer satisfaction.
