The International Road Federation (IRF Global) has officially welcomed the University of Sharjah, as its new member. On October 5, 2023, the IRF delegation, led by Dr.Kamil Elias Kaloush, IREF Chair and Professor at Arizona State University, took part in the official ceremony with the leadership of the University, represented by Dr. Abdul Wahab Mohammad, Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Ghazi Al-Khateeb, Chairman of the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department, Dr. Waleed Zeiada, Associate Professor in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department and other faculty members.
