Utilizing Artificial Intelligence Applications In Design: The Annual Exhibition Of Architectural Engineering Students' Projects At The University Of Sharjah.

The Department of Architecture at the College of Engineering organized an exhibition of the department's students' graduation projects, which includes more than 35 diverse architectural projects and designs that include residential homes, hotels, shopping and entertainment centers, cultural centers, mosques, and places of worship, airports, tourist resorts, and residential complexes.

The exhibition was opened by Professor Yousef Haik, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, in the presence of Professor Abdul Wahab Bin Mohammad, Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Emad Mushtaha, Head of the Department of Architectural Engineering, and faculty members in the department.

Dr. Emad Mushtahi mentioned that this year's designs are unique because they use artificial intelligence (AI) in different steps of designing buildings. This helps make buildings better for the environment and improve people's lives by using less energy. These are called smart buildings.

The exhibition also included several designs for planning projects that work to reduce the emission of carbon dioxide and work to achieve the goal of carbon neutrality, as well as designs for developing Islamic and civilized architectural systems by adding modern design elements in line with the contemporary technological revolution, in addition to the diversity of ideas presented. These include individual residential units, multi-story residential buildings, entertainment, commercial buildings, and some designs for outer space buildings.

These designs also relied on using environmental materials in design and implementation and modern technologies that make these buildings more resistant to climate and ecological changes.
