University of Sharjah Showcases Innovative Architectural Designs at SRTIP

Sharjah, UAE – Under the leadership of Aref Maksoud, Assistant Professor of Architectural Engineering, the University of Sharjah’s Architectural Engineering students have showcased groundbreaking projects at the Sharjah Research, Technology, and Innovation Park (SRTIP). The exhibition highlights futuristic bridge designs for Al Khan Lake and visionary skyscraper concepts, demonstrating cutting-edge computational design and digital fabrication techniques.

Aref Maksoud, a distinguished figure in architectural education and digital design, guided the students in developing projects that seamlessly integrate technology, sustainability, and functionality. His expertise in parametric design and advanced manufacturing techniques has enabled students to push the boundaries of architectural innovation. The event was honored by the presence of His Excellency Professor Hamid M.K. Al-Naimiy, Chancellor of the University of Sharjah, alongside the deans of the College of Fine Arts and Design (CFAD) and the College of Engineering, and the head of the Architectural Engineering Department.
