In a significant collaboration, the University of Sharjah and the Ministry of Education have signed a memorandum of understanding to support the National Artificial Intelligence Championship for students and teachers. The collaboration, attended by Prof. Yousef Haik, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Prof. Abbes Amira, Dean of the College of Computing and Informatics, along with several faculty members and applications specialists, aims to foster excellence in artificial intelligence among students, encouraging them to develop their skills and innovative ideas. Attended also by H.E. Dr Amna Al-Dahak Al-Shamsi, Assistant Undersecretary for the Care and Capacity Building Sector at the Ministry of Education, and her team, the partnership focuses on nurturing talent, supporting the UAE's economy, and enhancing the nation's educational, economic, and industrial strategies related to artificial intelligence.
