The Dean of the College of Computing and Informatics (CCI), Prof. Abbes Amira, along with other faculty members from CCI met with Prof. Siraj Ahmed Shaikh on Wednesday, 18 October 2023, at 3:00 PM at M5-236.

Prof. Siraj Shaikh (Prof. in Systems Security, Swansea University – UK) who is an expert in Systems Security briefly presented the key research contributions of his team. Prof. Siraj also mentioned the collaborative efforts possible in the similar domain. It is intended to explore the collaboration in the area of cybersecurity.

During this meeting, the Dean provided a brief overview of the CCI efforts in this regard. The Dean discussed the possibility of cooperation of faculty with Prof. Siraj in the area of student co-supervision as well as introducing more initiatives for research and graduate projects.
