Dr. Bilal presented an overview of his previous research experiences within a range of electromechanical systems focusing on applications, mainly in the area of control and robotics research. With a wealth of experience at different kinds of research projects in different organizations (industry) and universities in Australia deployed for a variety of robotics and control applications. The presentation included an overview of the high-fidelity modelling, development, and deployment of Unmanned Systems, including integration of inertial and navigation sensors, sensor fusion, vehicle guidance, navigation, and control in real-time environments.
