Salama: Medical Telepresence Robot
This project introduces an autonomous medical telepresence robot designed to streamline routine patient checkups, alleviating the burden on physicians while improving patient experience. Utilizing audio-video connections, the robot facilitates virtual visits from physicians' offices to patients' rooms, autonomously navigating via line-following technology. Initiated by nursing staff, the robot moves independently, minimizing human intervention. Its real-time camera updates provide physicians with patient status and equipment information. Access to the hospital server from the physician’s office provides access to up-to-date patient records
