The huge increase in car numbers has led to an exponential increase in traffic, significantly increasing the problem of parking management . Traditional parking management systems struggle to cope with the dynamic nature of urban parking. To address this challenge, the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and IoT (Internet of Things) technologies offers a promising solution. Our project, "Smart Park" aims to revolutionize parking management by harnessing the power of AI, specifically the YOLOv5 model, in conjunction with Raspberry Pi and FastAPI, to efficiently monitor and manage parking spaces in real-time.
